After High School, Bobby served in the US Navy, running Gunboats up the Mekong Delta during the Vietnam war in the late 60's. In or about 1978, Bobby joined the Orange Police Department as a Sworn Officer and served in various positions, ultimately rising to the Rank of Lieutenant. He retired approximately in 2020/2021 and pursued his passion which was Off-Roading in his custom built "Railer". It was during one of these adventures in Quartzite, AZ that he suffered a massive heart attack and passed away. It was my honor and pleasure to have grown up with Bobby at Fullerton HS. That pleasure continued as we served alongside together at Orange PD, their Tactical Unit and other assignments.

i knew Bobby Dale Green since I was 3 years old..Our parents bought houses around the corner from each other. He was a neat kid.. His father was a firefighter . His dad and he made this huge railroad track around the inside of his garage for his model train sets. It was lots of fun. Almost all of my young memories of my life have Bobby Dale in them... I am thankful that we knew each other and that he was sucha big part of my childhood..
