Will be thinking of Julie at our reunion. May she rest in peace, 29 Jan 2025.
Janice Patton Sweeney: " Friends, our dear FUHS classmate Julie Crawford Lowe has gone to be with the Lord this morning after a four-year battle with three different types of cancer. Her trust in God never faltered during this long battle, multiple cancer treatments, doctors, hospitalizations, and infections. She was truly a warrior and her bigger than life personality will be missed at our class reunion. What I do know is how much she dearly loved her FUHS, Ladera Vista Jr High and Raymond elementary school classmates. And she kept up with most of you! Patti Sherwood Seaver, Barb Milby Statkus, and myself were able to spend a long weekend with Julie in Oklahoma City, in August. What a wonderful blessing that was - one would think we had never left high school from the stories, the jokes, the laughter, and the tears we shared about our journeys! Julie lived in Claremore, Oklahoma on a small cattle ranch in a beautiful home that she had a hand in designing. She was married to Roger Lowe, and between them they have 4 children, 5 grandchildren and a great grandson due in late February. She loved cooking, crafting, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also assisted in the food distribution program through her church, where she was very active in women’s programs and Bible study. I’ve known her since our early days at Raymond school, and she will be missed! "
