O.C. Register article dated 8/24/10 indicated that classmate Richard passed away on 8/18/10 at age 63. He was survived by his wife Margie, three daughters Rita, Catherine, and Erin as well as his son Isaac. Richard was also survived by his six grandkids, five sisters, and his father. He lost his mother and one sister prior to his death. God bless and RIP Richard. We miss you.
Richard Cooper, one of the most handsome boys in the neighborhood (that would be my neighborhood) He may have even had a few groupies, I'm not sure but then, they wouldn't have been called that in those days. He lived on Newell and came from a family of very beautiful siblings, beautiful inside and out. I remember the 70s as very telling for the Coopers. It was a time that shaped and identified many, many attitudes. I remember Richard, one of the most handsome boys in the neighborhood.
